President Sandra Turner-Handy
Turner-Handy was the key to getting Denby Neighborhood Alliance started in 2013. Also with orchestrating the grassroot projects with the community and youth. The next year it was up and running by the senior class in 2014. Additionally, it moved her when many of the kids stated they didn't feel safe walking to and from school.

Mayor Mike Duggan was escorted by Turner-Handy with the Life Remodeled the first day of the blight removal and beautification project.
Our mission
Our top 3 Goals are : Academic Rigor,
Community Development, &
Community Activism.
The organization has started and continued with rehabilitating, revitalizing, and implementing initiatives and programs. The alliance is promoting economic, social and cultural development of the community.
